If you're looking for guidance and resources to help you with managing a museum collection, here are some ideas.

Museums and Galleries NSW's
Museum methods is an excellent general guide.

The Heritage Collections Council's
reCollections - caring for collections across Australia, is still available online, together with their guide to significance assessment by Kylie Winkworth,  published in a new edition as Significance 2.0, and a wealth of further material is available through the different branches of Museums Australia.

Detailed conservation advice is available through the
Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material (AICCM), whose website also lists consultant conservators.
